MPEG4 DVR anytime soon?

Late last year, I upgraded to the H20 STB to get my locals in HD. At that time, it was projected that a MPEG4 DVR would be coming in the Spring. Is there any insight into when this may actually be happening?

PMA: Nothing definite, as yet, but I would guess between August and December '06.

I am getting annoyed by this as well. I also find it strange that DirectTV is still only promoting the HDTiVo on their site.

Time will tell, we can only hope soon...

D* is usually tight lipped until it happens, so maybe they stick to their June date and its out next month.....my guess would be sometime in early fall though.....

Maybe because it's the only HD DVR you can currently get.
