I need some advices for setting up the cross over on my set up, I tried to do a search but I could not find any old post.

On my H/K 635 receiver, I have the option of setting different crossover for the L/R front, Center, Rear Surround. I have it set up as follow:

Front L/R : 80

Center : 100

Surround: 120

What do I set the crossover on my sub to? Do I set it to 80 to match with the front L/R or to 120 to match with my surround? Thank you.

This crossover will not affect the rerouted bass from the other channels regardless of where you set it. OTOH, your should always set it at 120Hz to provide full bandwidth from the LFE channel.

Ideally, you would turn off the crossover on a powered subwoofer if possible. 120 hz is often the best you can do (unless the subwoofer lets you set it even higher.)

ah. I was referring to the crossover setting for the sub in the AVR. Of course, MJH is correct that you would want the sub's built-in crossover bypassed, if possible.
