Is there any way to force my replay to add 1000 to the cable box channels, and not alter the coax numbers? I searched a bit and couldn't find anything specific to that .. thanks!

I believe that the input with the most channels gets the 3-digit numbers, next most the 1xxx's, etc. So if you're splitting your cable and putting cable box on one input and raw (analog-only) cable on the other input, the cable box will probably have more channels available and win the coveted 3-digit channel numbers. AFAIK, there's nothing we can do to affect which source gets remapped.

Barring a general remapping, Jim certainly knows where it's at
