multiswitch/HDTV question

282 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  clubsport
I have read the multiswitch posts previous to this. They deal with DSS and UHF but didn't include HDTV from antenna. I went to the sites Greywolf supplied and they too only mention DSS/UHF/Cable. Would I need a special HDTV diplexer to split off the non DSS signal? Do these Switches generate noise that will create issues in the future? Is the Spaun as good as the Eagle? Which is known to be better?

Sorry for all of the questions, but I'm about to spend alot of money and would rather only spend it once.

There is no difference among analog/digital/HD signals through an antenna. They all are handled through the same VHF/UHF types of signal. All multiswitch brands do the job. You can feel comfortable shopping for price. Just make sure you get a 5x.
Thanks for the info.
