I've searched through the incredible amounts of great info on this forum, but I can't find this answer.
I just got a DirecTivo installed along w/ a tri-LNB dish. From my cable distribution point, I plan on putting in a 5x8 m-switch (Terk BMS58?). That's where I'll connect the Terk TV55 OTA antenna that I inherited.
My question is, will I need the power injector that comes w/ the Terk? My assumption is that DC voltage does not come out the OTA tap of the m-switch, so I need the injector, but do I also need a DC block between the injector and the m-switch?
Does the same answer above apply if I start off using a DC passing diplexer?
TIA
