Musicmagic Mixer and Slimserver

I just bought a Squeezebox and love it! Now I'm trying to get MusicMatchMixer to recognize the Slimserver as the default player so that I can generate on-the-fly mixes for Slimserver to feed to the Squeezebox. I can't get MMM to recognize Slimserver as an available player.


I've browsed through/searched both the Slimserver and MMM forums without much success. There are indications that Slimserver does and does not support MMM, depending on the Slimserver build installed. Discussions of release versions & nightly builds of Slimserver abound, but I can't find a coherent state of current compatibility.


Can anyone concisely confirm whether MMM can be tied to the current version of Slimserver? Does the installation sequence of MMM and Slimserver make a difference?
