there are a few posts in the grand rapids thread, but as the transition closes I suspect more people are gonna be googling more furiously.
Here's my digital tv report as of 1/1/09 for the North Muskegon area.
EQUIPMENT:
RCA 65mi UHF/VHF antenna on roof
SONY DHG-HDD250 ATSC/QAM TUNER/DVR
OTA:
13.1 - WZZM-DT
13.2 - WZZM-WX
40.1 - WMKG-DT
antennaweb.org pretty dead on for this.
tvfool.com seems a little more hopefull, but my semi-directional antenna
isn't helping much with towers spread 90deg apart 50mi away.
COMCAST: basic analog cable
15.3 - WGVU-DT
15.5 - WGVU-DT (CREATE)
20.1 - WZZM-DT
20.2 - WZZM-DT-WX
20.3 - WXMI-DT
21.1 - WWMT-DT
21.2 - WWMT-DT-CW7
WOOD-DT
CSPAN-DT
... + all the audio channels and a few worthless ones (QVC, etc)
CSPAN2-DT
currently angry that with a pair of decent rabbit ears, you can pick up the basics (NBC/ABC/CBS/FOX/PBS) but not in OTA digital.
come february, gonna be a lot of angry people with rabbit ears and converter boxes not watching much tv.
thank goodness for comcast. it kills me to pay $14/month for what i SHOULD be able to pull of an antenna, but its still easier to stomach than $45+/mo for sat and crappy equipment.
