My 17yrs old Harmon Kardon AVR died. I'm looking for a cheap 5.1 AVR replacement. Any recommandations?

It is to power small 3.1 HT Infinity speaker setup. My PS5 and XBOX are connected to my B9 OLED TV. From TV I use toslink to go to the AVR. I use builtin apps for Netflix and Amazon prime. I narrowed my choices down to:

  • Yamaha 385
  • Denon 540
  • Sony 590

Any recommendations out of the three?

Thank you in advance... :p

I prefer Denon myself. Finding stuff in stock this year is the challenge.
I'm a Denon fan too. Just out of curiosity, I would look at a Denon AVR-S750H from costco. I know I got mine for a great price shipped to my door.
Thanks... I'm leaning toward Denon myself too. I'm very happy with Marantz in the basement powering my JVC projector. I would consider Denon AVR-S750H, but in Canada (costco is not carrying it) and it is double the price. I don't think I would hear much (if any) difference when using 3.1 HT Infinity speaker setup I currently have.
Just placed an order on Denon 540 :) Thank you !!!
