That is very nice Qiong, looks like a great place to watch movies. Really like those chairs and the carpeting looks great. Lighting, curtains, popcorn machine, just too much stuff to comment on, I like it all.

Like that film reel wall paper near the ceiling too, add a pic of that if you have the time.

Also with the rack in the wall, how do you get to everything, just from the front there, does it pull out, or do you have access from the back room? Great stuff!

Thank you so much for the compliments. I will add more pics later.

My utility room is next to the theater. From the utility room I have access to the back of the rack, so it is relatively easier to connect the wires and cables from the back of the rack.

Ah I thought you might! That is a very nice design and I really like the in wall look that you have without actually having to suffer with pulling all your gear out to mess with connections.

Yes. It is really convenient to connect all the gears from the back. I built this theater more than two years ago and recently upgraded some gears. I sold my 720p projector and bought Optoma HD20. I also replaced my Denon 2310 with this HK 7550HD. Boy this one is such a beast! Now I can hear so much more details from my speaker system and it sounds so warm!

Althogh wife keeps whining, I just enjoy my HT so much!

Nice setup. do the curtiains help block any light overbleed?

Yes. It helps a bit. The main purpose for putting up the curtains is for absorbing the sound and for softening the tone -- to create an opera-like atmosphere.

Thanks for the extra pics Qiong. I like that one at the entryway the best.
