I just got a hand-me down 650 lumens Infocus lp330.

Im using a bedsheet right now. Picture is pretty cool considering.

What materials/surface/paint can I use to best take advantage of

a lower lumens pj?

ultra white paint. flat for ~1 gain

ultra white paint with perlescent top coating ~ 1.5 gain. you can add more coatings for more gain

or dull white PVC material ~ about 1-1.1 gain. Try Dazian.com if your bargain shopping or http://www.psism.com/projectoraccess.htm for pre made vinyl models.

bottom line is you should do a foot lambert calculation to figure out howbright it will be and size and gain screen you want. shoot for 15 - 50 foot lamberts and only use 70 manufacturers lumen specs

problem with a bedsheet is it's so pourous lots of light goes through it. probably about .7 gain
