my D1 cause headache

I have had a bravo D1 for 1.5 years. It was initially quirky but picture quality was great so I hung in there. At 13 months ( after warrranty of course) the power supply fizzled and I had to pay to fix and ship it. They get them fixed in batched at v-inc, so I got someone elses fixed D1. This new one is too quirky. When we put in videos it runs at 2X speed and the disc has to be ejected and resarted. Sometimes take 5-6 attempts. I just got the star wars trilogy and put it from box to player so it is not scratches. I am getting tired of this (wife more so) what should I do. Is their a DVD lemon law?
