for any LCD hdtv experts-


i bought an element FLX 1910 19" hdtv/pc mon on 7/07, it's been running 18/365 since with no issues. i mostly use it as my p.c. monitor.


yesterday a.m., i powered it up, got a creamy white screen, nothing else on it. turned off, restarted, it was ok, bidness as usual.


powered up this a.m., same off white screen. re-started 5 or 6 more times, same off white screen. that's all she wrote.


?


power supply?

something else?

already did, yesterday afternoon. got a new sanyo 19" hdtv/mon. for under $170 at w'mart; seems ok for another cheap chinese set. don't know how long it'll last but we'll see.

paid ~$250 for the element at c'city when they were still around.


but back to my op. any idea what caused its 'death'? if i can do a cheap fix on the element it would be kind of nice. just for a backup set if nothing else.

i just hate to throw some stuff away unless there is absolutely no hope for it.
