Finally have all the software and hardware to make full blown professional 3D BluRay movie like the ones Hollywood is selling with new 3D TVs.

Will post sample ISOs for you to evaluate.

Those cameras don't shoot at 24FPS so your BluRay is limited to half res or are you doing frame rate conversion?

Where did you get the MVC encoder and Blu-ray 3D authoring software?

You can download 30 day trial from NetBlender.

But in a long run I will be using Fraunhofer free MVC tools.

Only 18 thousand for the 3D bundle. Is that all?

I think I'll snap that up...

Test 3D BluRay ISO file. Around 400 MB in size.

Burn it using DB-RE and test it using 3D BluRay Player.

The Netblender demo I see....

I just downloaded it and double clicked it and it launched and played with PowerDVD 10 in 3D.

Doesn't play smoothly at all.

I use TotalMedia Theatre 3 and it plays perfect.

Good for you!

Perhaps the 17 open applications I have running might have something to do with the playback issue.

First time lucky.

After installing th new BD writer drive I have used NERO

to burn my first 3D BD ISO.

Up on reinsertion the TotalMedia Theatre 3 automatically started to play the 3D content. Then I have used the CyberLink PowerDVD 10 to find out how it handles the 3D BD.

Fantastic performance with both players.

I used PLATNUM BD-RE 25GB and this way I can test any 3D BD ISOs made with my new 2X Sony DSC-TX9 3D RIG.

I should have new sample ISO by this weekend.

Once your 30 day eval for Netblender runs out, then what?

I have the free Fraunhofer MVC encoder and for the menus

I will use templates and regular BD authoring like Corel® VideoStudio® Pro X3HD video-editing software.

I downloaded the test iso, burned to a bluray re and played it successfully. There are three parts - skiing, bimbos washing a car and sports cars. The 3D was unimpressive, especially in the third section. Good color, smooth motion, no ghosting. But little 3D effect.

What was the point of this?
