Echoing the post of sat_uplinker, I want to post few pictures of my HT, which was done weekends before the last one. And I want to say "Thank you!" for the AVS crew and AVS forum members for the help in making my HT done.

The entire setup was designed and done by me and my wife.

The projector is mounted in the hush-box. The hush-box design process included thermal and air flow simulation for optimization cooling with lowest possible level of the noise. Then drafts were sent to machine shop to cut parts from black acrylic. The hush-box assembling is in progress:

Besides the PJ the hush-box contains:

- remote control RF unit;

- electronic thermometers for intake and exhaust air temperature control;

- circuits which controls hush-box fans on/off.

PJ screen trigger output is used for fans activation. After turning off the PJ, fans continue to run until PJ cools down completely.

View on the screen from the second row's side seats:

The second row is on the platform:

UPS and some other stuff is mounted under the platform.

Some more images are in my AVS forum gallery.

Very nice. I like the custom Hush Box. I did not know you could get plexiglass in black. You could be on to something. I bet you get some orders.

I like the neutral color of the room. Im guessing this room soon becomes the most popular room of the house:)

The ceiling is light grey, brighter than walls. I though about painted it to black or somewhat much darker than now color, and likely will do...
