Hey Guys,

I've been into home theater for over 10 years now and I finally broke down and bought myself a DLP Projector. I went with the infocus 4805 and am very pleased with it. The only thing I've noticed at the very top of the projected image is a single line of magenta. It appears no matter the source. With just a blank screen it is constant, with DVDs it's there off and on.

Anyone know what this might be? Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong area. Thanks in advance for the answers.

thanks for the advice. Turning overscan off seemed to do the trick. I know I should look in the manual, but what exactly does overscan do?

It makes that line at the top of the screen go away! :D

I don't really know. I know the term "overscan" refers to the edges of the picture that aren't normally shown on TVs. But that's really all I know. For me, I toggle it whenever I see something like you mentioned.
