Here are the 1.75" high casters I am using.
Here we are ripping the pre-stained birch europly into manageable chunks.
Here are the vertical panels and shelves. The vertical panels show the biscuit joint cuts.
Here, we're using a router to cut a 13" x 1.5" notch in the backs of the shelves for cord management and cooling airflow.
Here is what the notch looks like.
Here's a biscuit going in!
Here, the vertical panels have been attached. Note, the unit is upside-down. The holes are for cord management and some extra ventilation.
Here it is, still upside-down, with the backs slid in. Holes are cut for ventilation and allowing my meaty paws in the back for attaching stuff.
Here it is with the bottom panel attached. (Still upside-down.)
And the clamping begins.
A cross clamp was attached to help "true" the stand. two pipe clamps attached by a chain vise-grip. Very cool!
