we just purchased a mitsui 7900... b and h video has em for $799, without the 3d glasses n emitter.. other places have the complete package for 899..


reviews on 7900 seem ok, hopefully its a cheap alt, waiting for 4k..


our present pj is an infocus 7205... still works great... but its rarely used... still under 1000hrs on the orig bulb...

SP7210 is a good projector, with perfect review among users, why you not try to fix it?

I would love to fix it. I just installed a new high quality bulb, but I could not get the hours to re-set. Some investigating I did mentioned a "firmware update" but I could find no information about this on the SP website. I have a feeling it could be a s simple as the projector not recognizing the hour reset prompt, and therefore not letting the lamp fire. Any suggestions?

you had better find its service manual, perhaps it has some instruction in manual.

 

it looks like as toshiba TDP-M8, just i have this model manual,and like to send it to you for reference if you need.
