I had Kevin Miller over today to calibrate my 47WX49. It looks terrific. The rp56 looks amazing and the HDTV STB is just stunning. I waited until the set was almost six months old. This was so worth having done. I can't wait to get my MyHD card set up and working. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with; professional and courteous.

this is the trouble I have with getting an HDTV at this time...people say that new JVC taht cam eout with DVI is superior to this panasonic (I didn't know JVC made superior things)....argh

The JVC looks like a fine set. Remember almost every high quality television monitor will benefit from a comprehensive calibration. Many folks can do much of this calibrating themselves but some of it requires test equipment. Only you know if you have the skill and patience to tackle the task. If you decide to take the plunge I hope you enjoy what you buy; I have not regretted my purchases one second. I doubt many HDTV owners have. It is clear McPatrick doesn't!
