I had to post, because I am just so excited!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

I finally ordered my projector: Sharp XV-Z10000U (I got a good price w/ warantee and didn't want to wait until November for the HD2+).

I will be projecting this onto my wall for a few weeks while I make my own 92" screen (but that's for a diff thread)

My sound system is Boston Acoustics (just set it up this week!)

Front L/R: VR2

Center: VRC

Rear: CR-65

Sub: PV-700

Any suggestions for setting up the pj when it comes in? I assume I should buy an Avia disc but what else??

Thanks to everyone at AVSForum for helping me make the right decisions!!

Awesome, Rob, congrats to you too!

Which did you decide on? I was long torn between Marantz and Sharp, but ultimately lower cost won out :)

I've heard continual ravings about the Sharp but never seen one.

the color management system is supposedly excellent

I've seen Marantz PJ's and don't shoot me,

always thought they looked very "digital"

I bought a JVC SX21 with anamorphic lens (ISCO II)

I'm getting the PJ from AVS this week

and the lens from another AVS member

I've had great times finding my new toy

met wonderful people on this forum

been invited to their homes

enjoyed their hospitality (thx Tom & Kraig)

and learned so much

I really have not seen a bad PJ

I've seen PJ's badly set up though

have fun, post lots

help other members :)
