Even when I put my HDTV on "Natural Mode", there's still a small black border on the sides of the image. So, my stretch modes naturally have some small black bars on the sides. I just upgraded from Composite to Component cables and it doesn't make any difference. My Xbox, however, works great. This probably has something to do with the differences in overscan or something, but I'm worried about it burning in since all my PS2 games have this issue.

PS2 games almost always have a sizable chunk of overscan. What kind of display do you have? I have a plasma, and there hasn't been any ill effects, although I do frequently adjust the screen size manually.

I have a CRT and have only had it for a couple months. When there is a resize option in the game, I use it, but I've only seen one have a stretch mode for it.

Ya I thought this was an issue due to me. But it seems to happen, it depends on games if they are set to handle full 16x9. Like lets see. When I played TopSpin for Xbox it filled my TV perfectly, but when I play TigerWoods PGA.. it had a tiny tiny black border on the edges.
