Hello everyone ,

I have made a little graph to explain what it is that I am trying to achieve.
Everything within the graph is what I have already purchased, I am currently running a Sony head unit which has 2 pre outs and have my Sub installed @ the back, but am planning to put in side speakers and 6x9's.

My question is , I have 4 amps in total and because my head-unit won't support so many inputs , do I need to buy a new head-unit or an adapter/converter ?

Many thanks in advance.

:)

No, because you're taking a very low signal and amplifying it anyways. If you were to open up your head unit that has 2 outputs you would find that internally it's wired the same way, with a Y. The only other option if you're worried about it would be to get a bigger amp that could handle all your speakers.
