Upgrading my htpc and need to purchase an AMD AM2+ socket motherboard (pci-e) that will work with the MyHD MDP-130. I ask this because I have had 2 other MSI motherboards that were not compatible with the MyHD and just want to avoid any issues. Thanks.
What were your MSI problem cases--early PCI-e boards, right?? I've not heard anything about mobo incompatibilities for quite a while now, so I suspect that virtually any AM2 mobo, being of a newer generation than were the problem boards, will be OK (aside from the multi core issues that MIT insists are caused by Windows bugs and that can be mostly worked around, as discussed in the MDP 130 Meta FAQ thread).
