MyHD Error after HTPC Crash?

149 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  rgathright
After several weeks of working on my HTPC I am to the point of reinstalling MyHD. I had to completely reinstall Windows XP, so also reinstalled SP-1 and Directx 9.0. Each time I click on MyHD it comes up with an error message. It does not give any info that I can give you.

Any idea what to do? I assume to download the latest driver, but I want something stable.

Thanks,

Raymond

ps: The crashing I believe was due to my Radeon 9500 Pro which I just replaced with a 9800 Pro.

Did you ininstall your old radeon drivers, remove the device, install a standard VGA device and then download the new drivers for the new card and install them?

Basically try removing all traces of your old card before setting up the new one.

Yes I did all of the above. Right now I am using the 4.6 Radeon driver.

My problem now is with the MyHD, not the Radeon card.
