What are the differences between the MyHD MDP-100 and Hauppauge WinTV-HD?


What is the analog cable support?

Picture quality compared to a Hauppauge 250 or Emuzed?

Can I do timeshift?

Both work with analog cable. Digital cable - Neither.


The Hauppauge board is virtually unsupported, there apparently hasn't been a driver/software update in ages. While the MyHD still has a ways to go, it's far better than the Hauppage already and every release is a major improvement.

Don't listen to these naysayers.


If you exclude the fact that my remote never works, there is no updated driver, my recording feature will never work, and that I get channel dropouts all the time, my WinTV-HD works great.


I'd love to sell you mine too!


Seriously though, don't make the mistake I did. Save yourself a bunch of headaches and don't buy the WinTV-HD.
