myhd question

I bought a myhd 130 card a month or so ago. I just put in to a pci slot and let if find the channels. It has never looked great so I have been reading the forum. My questions are

1. I now have my monitor hooked up directly to the video card with a digital cable- I guess that is wrong? the video card should be hooked into the hd card then back to the monitor and into the vga on the monitor? no way to hook up the monitor digitally?

2. You can't watch hdtv on your monitor ? have to be hooked up to a hdtv?

1) you can connect a monitor via DVI if you get the optional MyHD daughter card.


2) You can use a regular VGA monitor, the MyHD supports various VGA resolutions including 1024x768 and 1366x768.
