Hey guys,

I just announced the release of Myro:Home v1.5 and our 8" in-wall touchscreen panel. This version relies on the HAI firmware 3.0 (or greater) and allows up to 20 connected devices using TCP. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions feel free to post here!

Cheers!

Hey Danny,

I actually have my omnipro board powered and connected to my house ethernet. Unfortunately I have no software to configure it with. I grabbed the PC Acess demo off HAI's website but that has no option to connect via ethernet or serial, only by modem even though the documentation says otherwise.

Few questions: do I have to purchase this software? I put my email into the meetmyro last night to get a link to download your demo and still haven't seen anything come across. Third, can I set up all the configurations I'll need for my HAI Omnipro with meetmyro or will I need any other software?

Hi!

Yes, you need to have the controller setup and running properly before you connect Myro:Home to it. This requires PC Access to get everything setup and configured.

Once the panel is configured, then you can use Myro:Home as the UI to control your controller. It reads all the settings you have programmed.

As for the software, Myro is a commercial software so yes, if you like and feel it's worth the cost, then will need to purchase a license after the 30-day trial. As for not getting a link to the trial, could be spam blocker. Go to the support page on myrocontrol.com and create a ticket or email and we'll get you a link.

Thanks,

Danny

I understood there was a 30 day trial [for myro] and it was commercial software, my question was if I had to purchase PC Access in addition to myro to get everything setup. Which you did answer, so thanks. I was able to use a different email address to get the download link sent to my inbox, sadly it will have to wait until I order and receive a copy of PC Access to be able to check out Myro.

Great!

Let me know your thoughts. v1.5.2 is about to be released so you can auto-upgrade to that soon. This version allows you to control different "areas" if you have your controller setup like that.

The PC Access software is required as HAI does not allow developers access to that protocol (setup). It could be a security risk if they did.

Cheers!

Just saw that there is a new release of TED 5000 with API's available for development. Will you be adding support for the new energy detective as you have written in the original TED?

Hi Scorp133,

Yes, I have the TED5000 right in from of me... working in Myro:Home. I plan on releasing that in 1.5.3. I'm about to release 1.5.2, crammed a ton of requested features in this version (hence the delay)... it also included many features specifically for the MYRO8W panel.

Thanks,

Danny
