I saw this by chance while surfing for some paradigm setups. I was interested in getting a new stand and this kind of fits what I want for the moment. Aside from building one from scratch. Does anyone know what tv stand is this? Looks very ikea-ish to me but I may be wrong...

Ikea Magiker, I have that in dark red wood style (forgot name) and my friend has it in that style.


Unfortunatelly they discontinued Magiker sometime in 2007 I think? or early 2008. I got one of the Magiker book shelves (depth was perfect for laserdiscs) and wanted another to match it and found they no longer sold them. Also means I can't get the glass doors I skimped on originally ...

if ikea discontinued this, it's not too difficult to build out of 3/4" oak plywood and 1x2s" for the face frames for about $150.

I was afraid of having to do a custom job. Not that I can't do it. I can't ever cut boards straight for this sort of thing. I found some used ones...hopefully I can just go with that. If I were to make anything it'd have to be a clone of the stand made by BDI.
