NAD T748 + NAD 916 Hum and shut off
Hello guys,
This is my second post regarding the same issue. Please help!!
I am using NAD T748 as a preamp hooked up to a NAD 916 6 channel amp. I successfully used a Rotel amp with this preamp in the past. But now as soon as I hook up 916 and turn the system on..I hear this loud hum then bang and preamp goes into protection mode.
May be some kind of ground loop problem or what I dont know.
I tried Belkin surge protector/ power strip and Furman power conditioner but no luck.
Tried different outlets but the problem persists.
Please help.
