Do you guys think it would be worth it and make an impact on my system if I were to upgrade from my Nanosat 5.0 system (5 identical mirage nanosat speakers) to Polk Audio TSI300's for L/R and a CS10 center? Opinions please.

Bigger is better but the 2.5" Nanosat speakers won't be able to keep up as surrounds to floorstanding, or any speaker with 5"+ drivers.

So in other words I'll need to upgrade my 2 surrounds as well if I make this move?

You can try it and see what you think for yourself. I was in a similar position as I had the Nanosats but I didn't like the difference when just upgrading the front speakers. Front to back sound and vice versa really pointed out how small they are and why an 80Hz crossover is so desirable.


The Nanosats are cool little speakers but IMO they work best as a whole, with 5 equal speakers.
