Narrow bookshelf options to consider other than Sony SS-CS5?

I’m currently having to re-organize my theater room area by making a smaller screen and changing the seating orientation to make better use of our basement living space. As a result I have to either go down to a 92 inch screen to keep my JBL 230s ( which are about 9 1/4 inches wide) in place for my front and left rear speakers. Or, I can get some different front and left front speakers that are not as wide to get a 100 inch screen. I’m coming from 120 inch screen so I got used to the larger screen picture. The Sony core bookshelves are only 7 inches wide which would help me accommodate a 100 inch screen. I think I would just keep my JBL 235C for my center channel since it’s done such a great job for me and I don’t think I want to have to pay for another speaker. So yes, i’m thinking of having a mismatched setup depending on how things sound when I get them into my room.

This is only for home theater so I’m looking for something that is a little more dynamic. It would be ideal if this speaker was no greater than 7 1/2 inches wide. Are there any other considerations I should make for my left and right front speaker?. Any considerations I should make would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How about an 8 inch wide bookshelf that is in another league over the Sony and are dynamic for movies and can take the power -- the DCM TP160S speakers....great price

Black will cost a little more

Dayton Audio MK442 pair worked for a budget setup that has a narrow footprint.
Acoustically transparent screen?

IMO the audio experience is just as important as the visual experience. I'd rather have a smaller screen with good sound than a big screen with crappy sound. I'd keep the 230's and go with the smaller screen. A 92" screen is still pretty darn big.
If you use a smaller screen and you move your seating forward the same percentage as the screen is smaller, you will have the same visual experience. This is a common mistake. In pursuit of that largest screen possible, the audio becomes an afterthought. Thus, you get narrow speakers with compromised extension and output, shoved into corners, resulting in poor audio quality.

You still have time to correct the layout so you don't end up unhappy with one aspect or another.
