EDIT: I meant PN58C8000

I have been reading numerous threads on these three tv's. I want some definitive answers, and pros and cons from each tv from owners and enthusiasts.

The 55LE8500 (the one I'm inclined to buy)

http://www.amazon.com/LG-INFINIA-55L...0970633&sr=1-1

This one blends the plasma factor and PQ in it for me, but I still can't decide.

The PN58C8000 (which was recommended to me by a forumite)

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-PN58C8...0970605&sr=1-3

This one I might not look into, as it is a bit expensive for my tastes. I want something bigger than 52"

The Panasonic TC-P54G25 (which is the best rated CNET tv right now)

http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TC-P...0969890&sr=8-1

The best thing I like about this one if the price, as I would like to spend less than 2k.

3D is not important, but I would like to have it.

If the Samsung is the way to, please tell me where I can get it for less than 2K

Thanks for any input

maybe post up what you will be using them for mostly.. movies only, gaming etc..

The LG 8500 seems to be one of the few big dogs of LCD this year, with a slight banding issue and reflective screen.

I was told that gaming on the 8500 is not that great though it does rival plasma for depth and blacks etc..

The Samsung C8000 plasma is probably one of the best movie tv's i've ever seen to be honest. I saw a bluray demo playing on one while comparing lcd's and was absolutely blown away by how natural and clean the picture was.. I have never owned a plasma myself though so definitely check out the issues known for the specific models you look at.

Is there a reason you decided against the LHX55? As posted in the other thread it is gets a very good review here from an ISF calibrator http://hdtvbychadb.com/reviews.htm

Newegg has it well within your price budget today.

I like my 55LE8500 - but at today's newegg pricing I would probably get the 55LHX

At the end of Chad's review he says 'I found the LHX to be one of the very best displays I've ever seen, and my favorite for a typically bright living room. The increased number of local dimming zones and improved cosmetics make it a worthy upgrade to the giant-slaying LH90. Although it has been discontinued and replaced with newer 3D models, it can still be found new. The replacement models feature glossy screens and differently tuned local dimming action, with mixed results. The LHX is well worth searching out, as it's over all picture quality is not likely to be matched by another LED LCD for a while.'

I will also look into that one if that is the case. The reason I didn't consider it, is that I would like to physically see the TV before hand, and odds are I won't find it as Best Buy
