NAS build

Got a buddy who wants me to put together a NAS for him. He has already picked out the parts(not purchased yet),but I want to be sure he's getting what is needed. Let me know if you see something that isn't needed or something that may need to be changed. I'll let him know and he can go from there,thanks.

what about a video card?

You might consider a tower case with external drive bays for a easy mobile rack to slide in SATA harddrives. You'll want expandability.
