I swear--sometimes I wonder if they decide what catalog movies to release using a monkey and a dart board covered in sticky notes.

We have to remember this will appeal nicely to much of the PS3 crowd.

Van Wilder is also one of Lionsgates most successful titles.

You can use the monkey analogy when they release Cutthroat Island.

By the way...I would love for her piece to be on me.

One of my buddies is the same way, he a die hard Renny Harlin fan.

For me... Well, I watched this with a group of friends when it came out on LD, and even with the bombast of the AC-3 soundtrack, we were all asleep within five minutes.

That's the first and only time I fell asleep while watching a film.

LOL yeah, to each his own i guess..., i felt the same way after the Singapore attack on POTC3 up until the battle at the end. Sometime i think directors or writter are trying too much. That triology goes in the same way as Back to the Future, like the first a lot, liked the second too, but the 3rd one was so so. Same apply for POTC to me. I'll still get it on BluRay Tought LOL!

Anyway, never saw that one tought (National Lampoon)

This is a must buy for me, too! Really funny movie, with plenty of replayability. When I speak about movies starring Ryan Reynolds (the actor) with friends, he is always referred to as "That Van Wilder Guy".

If it ever came to BD, I wouldn't be quick to pick up the VW2: The Rise of Taj, tho...

Why? Is it bad? I haven't seen it yet and thought about renting it.
