Nice opportunity tonight to compare PQ side by side on the ESPNHD and FSN Ohio HD broadcasts. Both 720p. Looks nearly identical. I'd rate it very good for 720p. The center court camera on both networks looks a little soft, but that's probably just the best 720p can do from that range. (the 1080i basketball on TNTHD last night quite frankly blows both ESPN and FSN out of the water...)


FWIW, the FSN feed is about 1 second behind ESPN.


Watching via WOW cable Cleveland on a 50" 1080p plasma.

I commented in an earlier thread comparing the PQ of the Altitude (Denver local) feed vs. ESPN during the Nuggets Rockets game last week. The Altitude picture is brighter and, having been to the Pepsi Center to see games, it seems to me to be a more accurate representation of the Pepsi Center hardwood.
