I traded emails with someone at Turner this weekend and they indicated that all of the NBA games TNT is doing this year will be produced in HD for TNT-HD.

I have added all of the games to my guide. See the link below.

Now we just need D* to come through for us!

it was TNT-HD that drove me to V* for HD during the western conference finals - nice to see TNT-HD is going to be HD for all games this year.

Was very surprised to watch the Miami Heat game this past weekend on TNT-HD with Dish Network. TNT sure is being a big surprise in the HD Sports arena, with their NBA, NASCAR and Golf coverage (especially when ABC didn't carry any of the british open's (mens/womens/seniors) in more than 4x3 SD and TNT had a great HD upconvert).

Every game? This is great news.

I noticed that the double header in HD on a few days ago looked a lot better than last years conference finals. Looks like they are using the same camera angles for HD as SD.

I missed this because I never check TNT HD because they streach all non HD material. Likewise I ignored ESPN HD until they stopped streaching. Now I love the ESPN SC football highlights as HD highlights are presented as such and non HD highlights are not streached.

Ya, I wish they wouldn't stretch the SD. With a single button push my receiver can stretch it if that's what I want. Almost always skip over TNT-HD channel because of this. Nice to hear NBA will be all HD, guess I'll stop skipping over now.

I would say that over half of the movies they show on TNTHD now are not stretched - probably worth checking out if you see one you want to watch on the guide.

Turner has 2 HD trucks, I believe, and they are broadcasting two games most Thursday nights...

is there any SD material worth watching on TNT? I get TNT HD here and I love the channel..75-80% of the movies they play are all HD

it would be nice if they let the viewer know when they're watching HD and when they aren't(to avoid confusing people)...then again, fox broadcasts 480p upconverts on their HD channel

but TNT is awesome..i'm an NBA fan so all games in HD on TNT+ NBA-TV games will give me at least 3-4 games every week
