I've been using OTA for over a year new in Oak Park, IL and, generally, have very good reception using a Mohu Leaf. Friday night my wife and I sat down to watch the Olympics opening ceremony to be greeted with terrible reception, so bad we couldn't watch it. The next day was fine until the Olympics were on and, again, reception dropped. This happened again Monday and Tuesday: during the day reception was fine, but then starting in the evening the image made it unwatchable.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? I suspect NBC's parent company (Comcast) is lowering the signal strength trying to force people to subscribe to their service. If that is happening is it legal? Seems kinda shady in my opinion, but I have no other explanation of why this is happening.
(This was meant for the Chicago thread, not it's own within this forum. Sorry for the confusion.)
