what do people think of the NEC 3000 linedoubler

The one at Trevor lees ? Way too expensive, would be ok for A$500. Buy a iScan Pro of ebay for ~$630.

I don't know if I'm allowed to do this but I have an NEC IDC3000 doubler for sale!!!

I've only used it a couple of times with my xg110, and would love to keep it becuase it is much simpler to use than HTPC. I think I'm going to upgrade to something more substantial. Let me know if your interested I'm in Western Canada

The 3000 seems to be a pretty good doubler with a wide range of inputs but beware of the ones you get from USA & Canada, they're NTSC only. Not sure if the ones you get here in Oz are PAL only or multi-system, though.
