nec 6-pg convergence help please

hi there. i am new at this. i just got pg-6000 thats works great. but the red convergence will only go left and right but will not go up and down. please help. thanks for any help

Check and wiggle the connector for red on the C-drive board. Either the connector has a cracked solder connection, Or that channel of the STK chip has gone. Either way, it's usually an easy fix. Been discussed to death on the forum. Welcome to AVS, and congrats on the PG. If this is new to you, I STRONGLY suggest you download the tinman/feathers setup guide here, and get a manual for the beast. Most questions regarding NEC's have been answered here, so a search should dig up info you need.

Hello. I will try to get back to others what I got from this forum. I had the same problem with my PG6. Thanks to Tinman's advice I changed the C board and problem was gone. It is really easy to replace this particular board. Have fun with your NEC. Robert.
