nec 6pg extra "FE-00" error code

The error code alternates between FE and 00, while the projector is running. Other than that the projector runs fine. Searched around for this error code on this forum, but only mentioned on another NEC model, and the instuctions to reset the eeprom by holding a "select?" button didn't apply to this projector, I think.


Any suggestions, or links to a service manual for the pg6200 would be great! Thanks.

Isn't that code indicating the lack of some kind of an internal videoboard, thus not working with composite and S-video in standalone? My 9PG does that all the time, and does not work with other sources than RGB in standalone.


I might be wrong...

Yes, that is probably correct, as only the rgbhv input works, I gues the queestion then is, how do turn the error off.

I guess if it is only the display that is affected, I'll just consider the flashing a way to prevent burn-in on the LED display ;)
