Hello all, Well I am just about to drywall and last on the electrical was the cables for the projector. In my unpacking the box that has been tucked away for months I pulled out my install manual. Instead of unpacking the box to get my manual before I simply downloaded what I thought was the 9100 manual. It turn out I downloaded a 9200 manual by mistake and used the set up dimensions in my planning. (It had GE_901 in the file name). Anyway here is my situation. I elevated the center section of the room (a little under 97"wide by 148" length) to put the projector pretty much up out view from the seating area. The rest of the room ceiling is about 11 inches lower. My plan was to use a 100 inch diagonal screen size as that was what the projector was setup for before and was fine for me. The correct C dimension for the pg9+ is 121 and 3/16. Add to that the nearly 30 inches for the projector and you see my dilemma. It also looks like I will need at least a couple inches more to slide the Pj forward upon mounting. I though about taking the mount brackets off and turning them around so that mounting would be done by sliding from from front to back but I foresee that throwing the unit off balance as the center of the mount would be more toward the rear. So my main question is should I just go ahead and try the mounting location as far back as I can and deal with the setup change ( I will then be around 6 inches more toward the screen than supposed to) The other option is to drop the height of the PJ down to clear the rear "soffit" and put it at the factory distance but live with it looking out of place. I searched and read for 2 hrs today and did come up with some threads that address increasing the raster usage and shorter PJ to screen distance but would 6 inches be unreasonable? Lastly the screen size is not critical. I will construct the screen so if all this means is that I may end up with a 97 inch diagonal instead of 100 so be it. Thanks much in advance I am on hold till someone straightens me out.
