Yes, they're still available. I would not buy spares; the tubes can age if they're not used for a few years, and you can pull a dead tube out of a brand new box (it does not happen all the time but it can...)
Otherwise VDC will rebuild these for years, and for all intents and purposes, their rebuilds are as good as the new ones.
