I have an NEC MT800 Projector that has an obvious convergence problem. It was not bumped, but just seemed to drift off during the course of a long movie and stayed off. My question is can I fix this myself, or is special equipment required. I have converged CRT video cameras, so I know the basic theory: I just don't know what to expect from a LCD projector. Is it just electronic pots like a camera, or does it involve moving mirrors and panels. Would I need a service manual?
