nec pg-6000 stk help please

hi there. can anyone tell me witch stk is for the red convergence on the c board please. and is it stk392-040

It doesn't matter which one of the 2 chips is bad, it's a very good idea to change both.

Hi,


While you have the board out there are 6 large-ish resistors that you should replace as well (Mine went SC with age and heat and blew up

another set of STK's after 1 month). Make sure you replace whem with the same if not larger wattage.

Here is a list I found on the AV Forum by Helipilot:


NEC 9PG FIRST AID KIT


1 STK392-040 ....................1 used for edge focus on F DRIVE, 2 used for convergence on C DRIVE

3 1.8 ohm 3W resistors .........used as protection when STK392-040 blows on the F DRIVE. these must be fireproof fuse resistors

1 SC4288A ........................ horizontal output transistor on DEF PWB

1 tube of heatsink paste........used to provide heat dissipation on STK's etc

1 DD50R ............................ power supply diode D30

1 ERC20M-08 ..................... deflection board diode
