I recently wanted to increase the size of my ceiling mounted PG6 + picture. I moved it back from the screen about 40 inches (a total of about 155 inches). I also choose to take this time to dust it out. When I fired it back up to converge I was enable to focus the red CRT ( bably out of focus. Cannot tell that the "focus" screen has rows of "H's".) The lense is doing its job as far as I can tell. It seems I need more focus from the electronic focus. I also made sure that the projector is lined up to the screen properly. It worked just fine before the move. I should have been content with the picture size I had. Any input to my problem would be greatly appreciated.

Also, does the NEC 6 have a raster adjustment. How do you center the rasters?

You might try looking to see if you dropped a small washer through the fan housing, landing and louging its self on part of the red crt. This could dramaticly effect the red focusing.

(yes, this is what happened. I accidently came acrossed it while pondering my problem. Although I don't think this should every make it to the next NEC Trouble Shooting Manual, it is a lessen learned. Thanks to all that took the time to read about my blunder. And thanks to Marc for his personal offer to help out.)
