Has anyone run across, or even come close to finishing, a serial control app for the NEC LT & VT (the serial control codes are the same) series pjs? Like many others, I've lost my CC remote, and before I drop $45 on a new one, I'd like to give the serial control a shot. The app from NEC is basically worthless, all you can really 'control' is the power on/off... If anyone's working on this, I'd be happy to help with the programming...

I really mean it, you're starting to get on my nerves!

Listen, I'm not kidding here, if you keep reading, you're gonna regret it!

Sigh... I give up - go ahead and read it...

I use Girder, the serial plugin and a couple of files from this thread. I don't know if it is as flexible as you are looking for but it suits me ok. Then again, I don't change anything on the projector, that is what the scaler is for. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks, I'll take a closer look at the girder solution. I was hoping to be able to re-calibrate my pj thru the serial control, as it seems to have lost it's settings somehow. The way I've got it mounted, it's pretty much impossible to calibrate from the panel - it's sitting upside down in my ceiling http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif Anyway, I'll definately give girder a closer look...
