Do you see this technology being used with a single chip lcos design? From the description at Nec describing wt600 it seems possible to use the aspheric mirrors with non dlp single chip implementations.
This is a pretty interesting technology, but it does fix you into one screen size. A FPTV like this would take up some room real estate, but it would be less obnoxious than a giant box RPTV. If NEC makes something like this with a HD2 chip, it could find a nice market niche. You could build a cabinet that housed the projector, center speaker and AV gear and it would be all self-contained. Very nice!
