Nec XG135 Raster Centering & Phase

316 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  chs
Hello,

I have a problem setting up my XG135LC. The red tube needs a little bit raster adjustment. According to the manual I enter the Ref. Adjust menu and choose Raster Centering. Now I can change the centering for all tubes. When I try to switch to a single tube using CTL + R/G/B the xg says "Invalid Key". In all convergence settings I can switch the tubes with this keys, it just don't function in the raster centering menu.

The second problem I have is to adjust the phase. Can someone explain me how to set up it correctly ? I've tried it according to the manual, but I don't have the sharp turns they describe.

Bye,

Christoph

Your not in the service mode if you cant select each one. If you have a XG1352 or 852 you need to use 315151 even if there only four spots put in the extra 51.

Also if the color isnt on that you are selecting it may give you 'invalid key'.

If you use the left and right arrows to an extreme you should see a a bending of the test pattern. Make the center most line as straight as possible running across the screen. If you see a bend starting on the right side count how many 'clicks' it takes to make the left side bend then divide that in half. Using the up down arrows adjust the center of the hump to the vertical line then store enter. Picture in the manual but wont be exact. Doug
Thanks, I had to switch on the passcode first but now I've got it :)

The phase adjustment worked fine, too.
