My setup is as follows:

Intel E6600

Intel DG45ID

Samsung PN50C7000

PowerDVD 10

I'm just trying to watch the Monsters vs. Aliens disc that came with the the 3d glasses, but I'm having no luck. The PC is plugged into HDMI 1 as the manual says, and I've named the input "PCI DVI" as the manual instructed. This made available all the 3d modes on the TV, but none of them seem to work well with what PowerDVD is putting on the screen. I have powerDVD set to auto-detect the 3d display. The TV never lets on that it's receiving a 3d signal. The closest I've gotten to any 3d is setting it to "2d->3d" mode.

I thought my motherboard's on board video met the minimum requirements... What am I missing here? Could it be the HDMI cable? Is there any way to tell if it's the cable?
