Hi all! I here this is the place with the info so here I am!


I have volunteered to do a video system for a local church. (I know - never volunteer). I want a PC to be the main system component, using power point and DVD.


The layout I want to use is as follows:

two monitors at the computer - a "work" monitor and a "display" monitor.

one LCD projector w/ at least 3000 lumens also "display" about 60 ft away.

one LCD monitor also "display" about 120 ft away from the PC


Here come the questions...

Anybody have any dual monitor experience?

What graphics card would be best for this layout?

The LCD monitor will be by VGA cable, how long can I go w/o an amplifier?

What is the best interconnect for the projector?

On average how far from the screen can I go w/ the projector?


Any other advice would be appreciated!

OK, looks like Ultramon might be a good idea for controlling the displays.

What about DVD Player software?

I would suggest do a search first.

All you're asking has been covered somewhere, and that's the nice thing about the search function!

I understand the search function, and I did. Most of the related topics were more of a 2 monitor setup, not 4, and not the latest tech. Computer hardware/software changes daily and I was looking for the newest solutions to my problems. BTW, thats were I found the above ultramon program from a search. Also thought some of the ingenious minds here might have a "better" way to do what I'm trying to accomplish.
