Hi all, I need some advice on these 2 receivers. I had originally planned on buying the Marantz SR 6003, however Newegg has a great deal on the Onkyo TXNR906 and I'm seriously considering it. Having previously owned a Marantz I pretty much know what to expect but I have no experience with Onkyo. Should I stick with the 6003 or is the Onkyo a better bargain? Thanks.

the 906 is fantastic--versatile, great audio and video--highly recommended. the marantz is no slouch either--if it were me id go with the onk myself as it seems to have more features for the money and better video processing--just my ho.

The reviews for Onkyo TXNR-906 are really good. How reliable is Onkyo?

I normally don't bump threads, but could anyone else please give their opinion on these 2 receivers? The sale price of the Onkyo seems like a really great deal, but I'm just not sure how the TXNR906 compares to the Marantz SR6003. Thanks.
